Custom background - thank you card

Hi...

Friends..

I stamped the thank you image repeatedly with black ink (should have used grey shade :(  ) to create the background. Then heat embossed one side of the card base with gold UTEE.

I die cut a vellum heart and embossed the edges, then die cut few thanks words and stacked them with liquid glue. Embossed it with UTEE n adhered on the front panel. Adhered the front panel with foam tape on card base.

Hi,..

Its been a while i was not posting anything here, so today I am with a mini album.
I am loving making mini albums now a days as they keep me busy for longer time and also they use up more pattern papers which I am hoarding from long time.
Its a gate fold mini album. It has 6 flaps and each flap can hold upto 4 photos and has a tag for journal-ling.

Made the belly band and decorated with hand made flower.

Peek-a-tute Stretch your stamps with Peek-a-boo designs stamps

Hi... Crafty friends...

My today's post is bit different. We all buy such expensive craft items but over the time we stop using it just because we get short of ideas because we see a flower stamp as flower stamp. Just look at it in different way so we can get more out of our stamps. So today I am trying my best to stretch my stash and you, yes YOU all going to judge how far i succeeded in my take on Stretching the stamp. By the way our Challenge for this month is colour inspiration challenge,

Card #1

For my two cards i am using Splitter Splater set.

* I used the solid canopy stamp from the set and inked with color box inks (tried to overlap two inks to get ombre effect).
* I used colours according to our on going challenge.
* I fussy cut each canopy once the ink is dry (these are similar to pigment inks so take time to dry )
* For one I trimmed the image more for other two kept as they were.
* Arranged them as butterfly around flourish.
* Stamped the sentiment.

Card #2

After the first card i thought how much more I can use this set so came the second card.
* I prepared my white panel for heat embossing.
* Stamped sun image with versamark ink.
* Sprinkled ranger liquid platinum embossing powder and heat set it.
* Once it cooled down I used distress inks and blended them diagonally on the panel.
* Trimmed it a bit, glued a black trip of CS
* Heat embossed sentiment on vellum.
* Added two clouds and sun to hide the glue.
** Sentiment is from same set, selective stamping

Card #3

* I took the small boat image and stamped it in a pattern repeatedly with versamark ink, sprinkled ranger gold embossing powder ( I wanted the pattern to show) and heat embossed it.
* Repeated same with large boat stamp.
* Going with the colour challenge applied distress inks.
* Then embossed front of vellum card base through bigshot with We r memory keepers next level embossing folder.
* I mounted the gems i made with boat images one on top of the other with foam square.
* I then cut 4 strips from grey CS, heat embossed sentiment in gold. Glued it on the front.
* To hide the glue i glued another strip on the back, n repeated same on the other flap of the card.
** Sentiment is from same set, selective stamping

No-line copic colouring - Altenew stamp

Hi.. Friends...

Today I am here with a simple copic coloured card. I used Best mom stamp from Altenew. Its my dream to do NO-LINE colouring, tried my best to do that. After colouring i die cut the panel with avery elle die, stamped sentiment, added few drops of ranger enamel accent to tie the card design. Foam mounted the panel on top folding kraft card base.

Wish I will keep practising colouring and colouring techniques.

Stencil mania

Hi... Crafty friends...

Here I am with my first post of the month for Peek-a-boo designs. This moth challenge is  colour inspiration.

Use 3 or more colours from the inspiration picture and link in the challenge post. We would love to see your creations with Peek-a-boo designs for the challenge.

Now coming to my post for the day. I am sharing 3 cards with stencils which released last month. Tried to make Masculine cards which are hard to make (as people say) .

Card #1 -

* I used BOX-tacular stencil.
* I used few distress inks to blend.
* I placed the stencil and blended orange shade colours first then off set the stencil to blend next set of colours.
* Heat embossed the sentiment. Kept the background pretty simple.

Card #2

Men play the role of angel in our life. As father, as brother and as husband then why can't we give them an angle card?

* Its a double fold card.
* I die cut a blue CS with the large stitched oval die and white CS with second largest stitched oval die.
* I placed the white oval on regular card base and blended distress inks very lightly for subtle background.
* Glued the smaller oval die cut on navy blue oval and glued it on open side of the card base. Stamped a fairy in black ink.
* Die cut the word with white and heat embossed it with gold UTEE for more dimension, backed it with black diecut word and glued on the card front.

Card #3

Its a simple one layer card and sneak peek of my next post.

* I liked this stencil but i wanted only little portion of the stencil.
* I selected the area i want on the card, placed it on card front and masked off the remaining area with masking tape/low tacky tape/washi tape.
* Blended distress inks from darker green to yellow.
* Stamped the sentiment with grey ink so that it doesn't over power the leaves.

I hope you liked these cards..

Colour challenge at Peek-a-boo stamps

Hi.. Crafty friends...

Today is my first post for this month. We have a new challenge this month at Peek-a-boo designs. Its a colour theme challenge. You just have to use 3 or more colours from the inspirational photo along with Peek-a-boo designs products, and link it to our challenge post.

Now coming to my post for the challenge.

I used the Splitter-Splatter stamp set.
I used the solid canopy image and stamped in colourbox chalk inks. Stamped sun and coloured with copic marker. Fussy cut them all and applied wink of stella and glossy accent. Once it dried completely I arranged the fussy cut images and heat embossed the sentiment from same set.

Picture isn't doing justice to wink of stella shimmer and glossiness of glossy accent, but in real life its awesome.

Thank you for visiting..

Suggestions are welcome..
