Heartfelt creations and water colouring

Hi..

Today I am with my first attempt in colouring Heart felt creations stamp.
I used Fuchsia bouquet stamp. I tried no line water colouring. I know as a beginner its difficult for me but thought will try.

I stamped the image on water colour paper with antique linen distress ink.
Used zig markers to water colour. Then used light grey marker to colour around the bouquet to give halo around the coloured image. It really made the coloured image pop a bit. Stamped sentiment in black.

Then i used spellbinders die to cut the panel and glued it flat on side folding card.

Thats the card...

PS : Its looking better in photo than in real :(

Night sky background - Two cards

Hi...

Here i am with two cards made in time of one , I used distress inks to make the background.
Then cut it into two panels.
I stamped and fussy cut a branch and bird, then die cut a circle from one panel, sponged white pigment ink around the negative circle die cut to add halo around it. Then adhered the branch and bird on it. Heat embossed sentiment in black.
Mounted this panel on white card base with foam tape.

Here is the card

Second card is too simple. I just heat embossed sentiment and few stars in white. And then mounted the panel on white card base with foam tape (I had plan of adhering this flat but forgot, I should stop using foam tape for every card) .

Here is the card

Shaped card - Stencilled heart

Hi..

Here I am again with stencil card. It is actually the left over die cut piece of one of older card. Thought will put it into use. You can look at the older card here .

I die cut two bigger heart shapes from black CS and mounted the glittered heart with foam tape.
For sentiment i die cut few XOXO from black CS, stacked them on top of each other. To make it pop from busy background I die cut another small heart shape and adhered on the card.

One layer card - Mamaelephant

Hi..

Here I am with another one layer card. Its really difficult to make one layer card (at least for me), still gave it a try. Its a 5x7" top folding card.

I used a white card base, mama elephant stamps for this card. Stamped ice bergs distress inks n then blended colour with little water. Stamped penguin and umbrella in its hand, coloured umbrella. Used few warm colours to make sky and sun. Die cut a circle applied distress inks and popped it with foam tape. Stamped sentiment partially.

To finish off I applied glossy accent over sun and umbrella.

This is my way to depict the global warming. Every animal on earth is facing side effects of global warming and trying to fight against it.

Enjoy sunshine

Hi..

Here I am with my another card with SUMMER colour theme and stencil again.

I used 5x7" top folding white card base, secured it to the work surface with masking tape. Used few distress inks in Yellow-Orange shade and a stencil from TCW. I love love this stencil.

Stamped the sentiment with Versafine black ink. Finished card with a black strip of paper and few enamel dots.

I love enamel dots alot, but never bought them because of their price. Then found these Indian made, economical collection of enamel dots.

Double masking - Anniversary card

Hi...

friends...

I made this simple card for a friend. I cut out a heart shape from a masking paper and then placed it on a black piece of card stack. Over the masking paper i placed and secured the stencil n applied embossing paste. Removed the stencil n sprinkled rock candy glitter over it, flicked off excess glitter.

Then heat embossed the sentiment on a black strip of card stack n glued it flat on the main panel.

Stamped the butterfly, fussy cut and applied glossy accent n left it to air dry. Then glued it on the panel. Mounted the main panel on white card base with foam tape.

here is my card
