Water colouring again

Hi...

Friends its a friday post this time. I want to clear one this, ppl around me encourage to do but every-time i fail in water colouring. But i am adamant to accept my failure in this matter. I gave another try to water colouring. Usually i decide to take step by step photos of the card which i make n it turns out to be disaster. And when i dont take that time it comes out bit better so that i can share with you all.

I again welcome all suggestions in this water coloured piece.

I used altenew stamps for the card. Base was clear heat embossed n the front panel with copper embossing powder from ranger. Coloured flowers with steadler water colour pencils. The sentiment was black heat embossed.

Diecut inlay

Hi Friends...

Here I am with another card. First of all i want to apologise because its an old card. I was ready with the post and thought have scheduled it for the date but i had not so I am posting now.

I personally love this card just because it is not filled with lots of colour. Its simplicity made me fall for it, even today.

I used heart parade die from SSS for the card. I die cut 5 times to get multiple pieces n saved them. Used one outer frame n one big heart die cut to heat emboss with Ranger gold embossing powder. Then on 2.5*6.5" card base I first adhered the outer frame then stuck all pieces along with the heat embossed heart to give 3d effect.

Then adhered this panel on a 3*7" top folding card base.
To give little interest to the card I heat embossed the edges.

Kept the front of card simple n without sentiment.

Sunburst Mini Album

Hi... Friends...

This is my post for this week... Its a mini album... With this I am attaching a link from where i got inspired... Hope you all like it...

I made it few days back on request of a friend for his friend. Its accordion (I think so) style album. Sorry if it’s not because I just make whatever I like without knowledge of terms.
I used black, cream and khaki colour card stocks. It is 18cm x 10cm album. I made the rim or the mechanism to hold tags with khaki and cream colour card stock and distressed them lightly. The outer cover was made with chip board and covered it with black card stock, then glued the tag holder to it and kept aside to dry.

I cut 12 pieces of 16x8.5cm for tags. As i don’t have tag die i used lawn fawn circle die to cut top portion of paper to keep it uniform, then distressed with distress ink. For added interest i dry embossed the lower portion of the tag with sizzix ‘thank you’ embossing folder.

I used sentiments from Penny Black, stamped them with memento ink and cut them out, distressed with distress ink and added a coat of clear UTEE. Flowers are from SSS Summer garden, stamped, cut and distressed the flowers, after drying applied a coat of ranger coracle paint and sprinkled rock candy glitter to the centre.

The sentiments were popped with foam tape and flowers were glued at the top of tags.
The outer cover was embellished with heat embossed heart image from hero arts. The closure was kept simple with a thread and a small butterfly.

Made one black tag to paste a photo of the couple.

Here is the link from where i got inspire to create this album.

I hope you liked the album..

Water coloured card

Hi... Friends
Here is the last but not the least post for my blog.
Though i know that water colouring not my forte, i try to do because the results of it is so beautiful. So gave it a try once again.
I used Penny black petal party stamp set for images. Cut out masks for two outline flowers. Stamped them on water colour paper. Coloured with steadler pencils. Just add some interest i used light blue colour around images. Then tried to add colour splatters , which i guess didnt work for me :( .
The sentiment is from Mamaelephant.

Heat embossed card

Hi... Friends

Its been long time that i didnt show my face on blog. Needed some reason to force myself for getting in crafty land. Here is a simple engagement card made for friend.

I used clearly besotted stamp sets. I prep the card base for heat embossing. Used ranger gold embossing powder for floral image and silver embossing powder for sentiment.

Then mounted it on 5"x 9" land scape top folding card with foam tape.
